April 2019 Luncheon
The WTS-OC April 2019 luncheon featured Orange County Transportation Authority CEO Darrell Johnson.
Under the direction of OCTA's 17-member board of directors, Darrell is responsible for a more than $1.2 billion annual budget, implementing planning, financing and coordination of Orange County's freeway, street and rail development, as well as managing countywide bus, commuter-rail and paratransit services, and operation of the 91 Express Lanes. He leads an agency of 1,500 employees responsible for delivering projects, programs and services to improve mobility for more than 3 million county residents.
At the luncheon, Darrell presented OCTA's proposed 2019-20 budget and provided updates on state and federal transportation funding.
