METRANS students learn from WTS
July 18, 2018
METRANS Transportation Center students Yilin Zhang and Rui (Rae) Zhang attended WTS-OC and WTS-SD's monthly luncheon featuring representatives from Caltrans Districts 11 and 12.
The students, both recent graduates from USC's Master of Planning Program, were able to meet industry professionals and learn more about what to expect with a career in transportation.

In the coming days and weeks, our chapter will also be unveiling our fresh new look for our members to enjoy on our social media platforms, newsletters and on our own chapter's blog. Although our logo may be changing, the mission remains the same - to advance women, and advance transportation.

WTS-OC Introduces Kids to Engineering
May 19, 2018
WTS-OC helped introduce kids to engineering at ASCE-OC's Dream Big event. The event was held at the Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, where kids between the ages of 9 and 18 walked down a red carpet surrounded by activities related to engineering hosted by various organizations within the industry. Kids were also invited to watch a showing of MacGillivray Freeman's film Dream Big: Engineering Our World.
